No Right or Wrong

It was more of a contemplation of my circumstances than it was an understanding of my reality. I could feel my vertebrae contracting and expanding within my spinal column. It was growing its own identity, beliefs, and constitution. It would leave me soon if I did not straighten myself out. Strange how the things you need will leave you if you do not do the right thing. Is there really a difference between the right and wrong thing to do? Why would there be? Sometimes there is no right or wrong, just circumstance and conviction. Sometimes there just- is. No circumstances can provide all of the information one needs to understand upon which direction to go in. If you really think about it, there is no right or wrong direction to move towards. All directions lead you to the same place. Life is terminal, everyone’s life ends the same way- death. The only true direction one can walk in, is the direction that is in their own heart.

From Within

you can feel it/ a grasp from within/ what is it trying to hold on to?/ a distant memory you have become estranged with/ the memory has defined your life/ you are the definition of something which does not exist/ sliced open/ limp arms wrapped around you/ holding you tightly/ a pathetic excuse trying to keep you safe from yourself/ you are the only way/ you are the only one who can define the grasp from within/ enrapture yourself within the grasp/ the only salvation you will ever know…

All cover, and front-matter artwork, was painted by Tobias Enrem. No human remains, or body parts, in any way, what so ever, were used during the creating process for these paintings; except for the use of human blood, which was mixed directly into the oil-based paint. The artwork within this book is what Tobias Enrem refers to as: Macabre Expressionism. Upon first glance, the eye can only see shapes, and colors. When the eyes gaze deeply into the artwork, the image will naturally appear before you.
